I've Built the AEO App I Always Wanted

A small branding exercise to define AEO Copilot: what it is, who it's for, and the three things I believe about pricing, free tiers, and ownership in AI visibility.

AEO Copilot, the AI visibility tool for agencies and freelancers

I did a small branding exercise to define AEO Copilot. It clarified a lot for me, so I'm sharing it.

What is AEO Copilot?

AEO Copilot is an AI visibility monitoring tool for freelancers and agencies.

It tracks how your brands show up in answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Then you turn that data into insights worth charging clients for.

It is not an enterprise SEO platform with AI features bolted on. It is not trying to be Semrush. It does not try to do AEO for you the way Webflow promises to.

It is built for the person doing the work, not the person buying a seat in a dashboard they will never open.

The one-liners

Long: AEO Copilot is the AI visibility tool for freelancers and agencies. Track how your clients appear in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, and turn that into a service worth charging for.

Short: AI visibility monitoring for freelancers and agencies, at a fair price.

Ultra-short: Track your clients' AI visibility and grow their business.

Three things I believe

1. Affordable pricing

You shouldn't have to pay $500/month/brand to do good work for your clients.

The big platforms price for companies with procurement teams, long sales cycles, and big budgets. They make it almost impossible to know what you'll actually pay each month.

Enterprise AEO tools priced from €205 to €675 per month

AEO Copilot exists because that pricing model is broken for the people who need the tool most.

I want to sell to freelancers and agencies who care about quality at a fair price. I don't have Bay Area offices. I don't have a sales team cold-calling you. I don't want either.

I'm not afraid to show you the price. I care more about whether you get value than whether you stay subscribed.

2. A genuinely generous free tier

I love PostHog, Granola, and Resend. One thing they share: a free tier so generous it makes you wonder, "why would they do that? it's bad business."

With AEO Copilot, you can track your brand visibility across ChatGPT and Claude for free. Sign up today and start monitoring how those models describe your brand. All of it, free.

3. Plug and play, not done-for-you

AEO Copilot isn't an AEO tool. Not in the sense of "we do the AEO work for you." I don't believe in that.

I believe in you doing the work for your brand, or your client's brand, because ownership matters. AEO Copilot's job is to give you answers and insights. Your job is to use those insights and keep improving the work.

AI is bad at ownership. It needs someone to guide it. I believe that someone is you.

Connecting AEO Copilot to Claude through MCP

Ownership doesn't mean spending your days cross-referencing AEO Copilot, Google Search Console, and your favourite keyword tool. Let Claude do the boring part. With the AEO Copilot MCP and the Google Search Console MCP, you can ask Claude:

Based on AEO Copilot and GSC data, what should my weekly content goals be?

And let the model do its thing.

Who is it for?

Freelancers and agencies who build websites, offer SEO/AEO or content work, and want to add AI visibility as a service without burning their margin to do it.

What pain does it solve?

Freelancers and agencies are telling clients that AI search matters, but they have no way to prove it, track it, or charge for it without a tool. That gap is uncomfortable and professionally risky. AEO Copilot closes it.

What kind of product is it?

AEO Copilot is a reliable friend, not a vendor.

  • Reliable: It does what it says. No surprises in the bill, no features that don't work.
  • Flexible: It fits into your existing stack (GSC, Analytics, Claude via MCP) instead of asking you to rebuild around it.
  • Honest about limits: It doesn't oversell. If something is in beta, we say so. If the data has a caveat, we show it.
  • Supportive, not pushy: No upsell banners on every screen. No "upgrade to unlock" friction on core workflows. You upgrade when it makes sense for you.

If Semrush is the suit-and-tie consultant who sends a 40-slide deck, AEO Copilot is the person you text when you actually need an answer.

What it is not

  • Not an SEO audit tool (though it works with your SEO data)
  • Not a lock-in, end-to-end AEO tool
  • Not a content generator
  • Not an enterprise platform with account managers and onboarding calls
  • Not trying to replace Semrush or Ahrefs. It does one thing and does it well.

Who's behind it?

Me, Sofian. With friends helping along the way, like Pavel Karpisek from Karpi Studio, a Webflow Enterprise Partner.

Pricing principles

  • Prices are stated openly, everywhere
  • No per-brand pricing. That model exists to extract money, not to serve users
  • The free tier is genuinely useful, not crippled bait
  • Upgrades happen because the tool earns them, not because we block your workflow
  • No annual plans, so there's no lock-in

The tiers

  • Free: 50 prompts, ChatGPT + Claude
  • Freelancer: $34/month
  • Agency: $99/month

AEO Copilot pricing tiers: Free, Freelancer at $34 per month, Agency at $99 per month
